Google needs a software engineer to contribute to the development of a source of truth fleet data platform, expanding its use case coverage and data sources.
Requirements
- Experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms
- Experience using Spanner
- Experience with object-oriented programming, templates, and the Standard Template Library (STL)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement pipelines to collect signals like machine/virtual machine usage/reservation
- Design and build service level objective (SLO) guaranteed services to allow Cloud teams/programs to access data
- Collaborate with other Cloud teams for requirements alignment, design alignments and execution

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in software development
- US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits
