Requirements
- Proven track record of maintaining, improving, and testing a complex codebase with hundreds of users.
- Familiarity with how modern large language models are trained is preferred but not required.
- Expertise in machine learning
Responsibilities
- Long term projects to enable new research which involve multiple team members and require mature software engineering implementation and design skills.
- Fast paced reactive work to fix breakages affecting workflows or to implement new features on a compressed timeline for time sensitive projects.
- Providing support and answering researchers’ technical questions.
- Developing the right balance between good engineering practices and having a flexible codebase which researchers find easy to use and extend.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- You enjoy working and interacting with people with different skill sets and needs and can communicate effectively with them.
- You are comfortable working with people distributed across different timezones.
