Google Fi Wireless offers flexible, secure phone plans for individuals and families. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software products.
  • Build web applications using best practices.
  • Work on client-server protocols.
  • Work on our technology stack, including JavaScript/TypeScript, Java/Kotlin, C++ and database.
  • using data to help Google Fi grow quickly and sustainably.
  • building infrastructure to Fi Web and Apps, making and measuring the efficacy of changes to the frontend, and improving our flows.

Other

  • Manage individual project's priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the wider team (Product Managers, UX designers, DS and QA) to deliver the highest quality product.
  • Experience working with cross-team and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience with user and customer focused product development.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
