Google Store is looking to build the next generation of catalog infrastructure to simplify merchant and catalog on-boarding, ensure data accuracy through heuristics and AI-driven quality checks, and create tools for efficient catalog management to support their expanding hardware and services portfolio.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
- Experience with Machine Learning or Machine Learning algorithms.
- Experience with large language models (LLMs).
- Experience with AI algorithms.
- Experience in information retrieval.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform databases (e.g., Cloud Spanner, Bigtable, AlloyDB).
Responsibilities
- Manage catalog feed standardization, ingestion, and data quality infrastructure.
- Deliver a robust serving system capable of handling hundreds of thousands of queries per second.
- Enhance data models, and infrastructure to ensure reliable, low-latency serving.
- Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

- Work with engineering leads, UX designers, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to define and execute the goal for new capabilities.
