Google Store is looking to design and implement end-to-end backend systems to power new experiences and capabilities on Google Store, address customer issues, and fix system issues to improve customer satisfaction and cost savings for product returns, repairs, replacements, and warranty claims.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development in the Java programming language.
- 2 years of experience building and developing infrastructure or distributed systems.
- Experience with Apps framework.
- Experiece with software engineering best practices (e.g., automation tests, documentations, resilience, performance, security, etc).
- Experience with infrastructure tools such as Boq, Spanner, and F1.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end backend systems to power new experiences and capabilities on Google Store.
- Establish and track to clear project milestones across multiple quarters.
- Closely collaborate with TLs, Project Managers, UX, Engineering and external teams like transportations and operations.
- Address customer issues when escalated by agents, and identify and fix system issues.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to be self-standing, passionate and solve ambiguous problems.
- US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
