I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO, and to make a real-world impact in the field of space exploration, national security, cyber security, or cutting-edge engineering applications for the Federal Government.
Requirements
- Experience with Java or C++ software development; or Software Testing; or Software Integration.
- Experience with using, developing SW, and creating scripts on Linux.
- Full-stack web development experience preferred to include experience with Angluar/Cesium/JWT Authentication/typescript/HTML/CSS/Node.js.
- Experience with Eclipse, git, Jenkins, maven, Jira, Confluence.
- Hands on experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies and automated test tools.
Responsibilities
- Create custom applications, automate workflows, and integrate with existing legacy systems to meet government and public service needs.
- Ensure software adheres to strict federal, state, and local regulations, implementing robust security measures and following standards.
- Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for deployed software solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, process procedures, and configuration information for audits and end-users.
- Work closely with government clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, discuss technical challenges, and provide updates.
- Frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
