The Boeing Company is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Space Launch System (SLS) Hardware Software Integration (HSI) team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role will focus on unifying software and avionics hardware within a complex system through tool development, data management, and integration testing, providing central software development support to the HSI team.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience designing and developing software using Python, C/C++, C-Sharp and/or Java
- 2+ years of experience in software development and configuration management (CM) tools
- 1+ years of experience with setting up and maintaining a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
- 1+ years of experience working with agile principles and frameworks
- 1+ years of experience do you have performing software integration, test, validation, and verification
- Knowledge of the implementation of software test frameworks, tools, or simulations
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, tests, and maintains non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards
- Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products
- Develops, maintains, enhances and optimizes software products and functionalities for systems integrations
- Develops, documents and maintains architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products
- Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products
- Handles user inquiries, troubleshoots technical issues and user feedback analysis
- Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development
