Enlighten is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems to meet the needs of their clients.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava)
- Experience building, running, and testing Docker containers, and experience containerizing existing applications into Docker containers.
- Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI or GitHub Action.
- Experience in designing enterprise APIs.
- Experience in RESTful web services.
- Experience in Microservices architecture.
- Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms.

Other
- Security Clearance - A current U.S. Government security clearance is not required on day one, but will be processed for a Secret level clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office.
- Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting.
