Brook Inc is looking to solve the problem of improving patient outcomes and transforming the way healthcare is delivered by developing scalable microservices, implementing DevOps practices, and integrating AI-powered capabilities into their personalized health-care platform.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one server-side language (Java, Python, Golang or a similar language) and familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Experience working in AWS, Azure or other cloud environments and familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Exposure to NoSQL stores such as MongoDB is a plus.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular) or mobile development (React Native).
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain server-side components and microservices using Java, Python and Golang.
- Work closely with senior engineers to design systems that meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable code with unit and integration tests.
- Assist with implementing CI/CD pipelines and adopt best practices for version control and code reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and data teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning and provide status updates.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, cloud services) and contribute ideas for improving our architecture and processes.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years of professional software-engineering experience building backend or full-stack applications.
- Solid communication skills, willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- This position is not eligible for relocation or visa sponsorship.
- Candidates must live within a commuting distance from the office. This is a hybrid role, onsite in the office required weekly along with remote work.
