Requirements
- Basic knowledge of SQL and performance of basic modeling
- Experience in object-oriented design and software development
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python
- Experience with source control and build tools (e.g. GIT, Stash)
- Experience developing server-side applications
- Experience working in financial technology
- Proficiency in UNIX/Linux and shell scripting
Responsibilities
- Conducts coding at a small task level
- Conducts unit testing of own code
- Writes application modules and unit tests with guidance
- Optimizes code with supervision
- Corrects identified defects and issues
- Implements designs received from managers or immediate supervisors
- Applies learning from prior code reviews and helps with environment build deployments
