Worldpay is looking for a Software Engineer I to join their Enterprise Transaction Processing (ETP) Platform team to help build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This involves maintaining and integrating third-party solutions, managing hardware security modules, developing core software applications, and ensuring high availability and stability of applications.
Requirements
- Software development experience with object oriented and structured programming languages.
- Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Developing in an online, multi-threaded, transaction processing environment.
- Developing and deploying applications on IBM z/OS.
- Software development in Java and IBM High Level Assembler.
- Designing and building RESTful APIs.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain third-party applications to ensure they meet business requirements and operate efficiently.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, applications, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in software development tasks, including coding, testing, and debugging, to support system integration and automation.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
- Participate in 24x7 on-call shift responsibilities for a mission critical transaction processing environment.
- Execute tasks related to ensuring compliance with industry regulations and corporate policies, including audits and reporting.
