Boston Scientific is seeking a Software Engineering I to join their Cardiac Diagnostics R&D team to develop and improve mobile health solutions and remote monitoring services for patients with cardiac arrhythmias, aiming to reduce care costs and improve health outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience using Angular for web development
- Experience with Angular 11+
- Experience implementing REST APIs in C-Sharp or Java is an advantage.
- Experience with defect tracking and SDLC management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence
- Experience developing in a continuous integration environment
- Experience deploying web applications in a cloud hosted environment (Azure or AWS)
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, review, and deployment of highly scalable web applications
- Collaborate with software developers, system test engineers, user experience engineers, project management, and quality team members to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner
- Participate in SW test automation framework and tools development
- Participate in Agile and iterative software development processes to work towards achieving individual and team goals
- Create project documentation per quality system requirements
- Use software version control, issue tracking, requirements and task management tools in day-to-day work
- Coordinate and collaborate with global team members
Other
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering
- Previous work or internship experience with Boston Scientific
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
- Minimum 3 months of experience in a software role at a medical device company
- Passion to stay on top of development trends and tools
