Cox Automotive is seeking a Software Engineer I to join their Online Vehicle Exchange (OVE) engineering team to work on their 24/7 online source for vehicles where dealers can search, bid/buy and make an offer on wholesale inventory.
Requirements
- Understanding and experience with object oriented coding.
- Knowledge of how to design and optimize access of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with cloud native software which runs on and integrates in the Cloud with a preference for AWS technologies.
- Use of distributed version control software such as Git.
- Ruby on Rails, AWS, TypeScript
- NewRelic, Splunk
- Docker, GithubActions, CDK, Terraform, Ansible
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support solutions for our cloud-native OVE application
- Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed products
- Engage with your agile delivery team to build a culture of passion, trust, and creativity
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, (preferably Computer Science). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years' experience in a related field.
- Experience working in an Agile team environment preferred.
