Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building backend applications using Java.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native development and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable backend services and APIs.
  • Developing features and enhancements using Java and modern cloud-native architecture.
  • Contributing to microservices that serve both internal applications and external partners.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, with attention to performance and scalability.
  • Participating in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating across teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-impact features.
  • Learning from senior developers and participating in internal training, mentoring, and user groups.

  • Hybrid - Ability to work remotely part of the week
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years’ experience in a related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for backend systems.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially in distributed teams.
