Cox Automotive is looking to build the next-generation Dealer Management System that powers the automotive industry.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (C preferred; Python, JavaScript, or Java also considered).
- Strong understanding of modern frameworks and development tools.
- Academic, internship, or professional experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also a plus).
- Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub).
- Contributions to open-source projects or collaborative coding initiatives (e.g., GitHub repositories, hackathons).
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve code quality, accelerate delivery, and enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining applications while ensuring code quality through unit testing and best practices.
- Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshooting, documenting solutions for team knowledge sharing, and staying current with emerging technologies.
- Develop and maintain software applications based on provided specifications.
- Design and implement unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within assigned applications or functional areas.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years’ experience in a related field
