The business problem that the job is looking to solve is to build the next-generation Dealer Management System that powers the automotive industry for DMS+ Fixed Operations team
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (C-Sharp preferred; Python, JavaScript, or Java also considered)
- Strong understanding of modern frameworks and development tools
- Academic, internship, or professional experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also a plus)
- Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub)
- Contributions to open-source projects or collaborative coding initiatives (e.g., GitHub repositories, hackathons)
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve code quality, accelerate delivery, and enhance productivity
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications based on provided specifications
- Design and implement unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Collaborate on functional test planning and execution
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within assigned applications or functional areas
- Document solutions and processes to support team knowledge sharing
- Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to team improvement by sharing knowledge and best practices
Other
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- 4 years' experience in a related field
