Johns Hopkins Health Plans is looking for a Software Engineer to assist in the development and maintenance of custom applications and system integrations, and to apply hands-on technical expertise across the application lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a full stack application developer (SQL, Appian, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, .NET, etc.)
- Strong background in application lifecycle management and support services
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and back-end technologies
- Ability to manage version control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Experience with OnBase by Hyland (configuration, workflow automation, document management)
- Familiarity with enterprise content management and business process automation
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of custom applications and system integrations.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform unit testing and assist in system and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and development best practices.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare, Business Management or relevant degree.
- 3-4 years of related work experience with computer systems and applications
- Equivalent work experience may be substituted on a 2:1 basis.
