Jaxon Engineering is looking for multiple Software Engineers to join their engineering team to develop new software solutions and contribute to existing Python projects.
Requirements
- Python 3, HTML, and JavaScript
- Git/GitLab version control systems
- AGILE software development methodologies
- Professional experience using Java, C-Sharp, C++, or similar programming languages
- Professional experience with CI/CD Pipelines, wxPython, cxFreeze
- Experience designing software user interfaces with existing hardware.
- Experience with SCPI command structure
Responsibilities
- Develop new software solutions throughout their full life cycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Contribute to existing Python projects through development, debugging, testing, and documentation.
- Assist with software installation in the field including on-site debugging as needed.
- Develop frontend and backend software solutions, with testing architecture.
- Experience designing software user interfaces with existing hardware.
- Experience with SCPI command structure
- Demonstrated skill in technical writing and/or documentation.
Other
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret clearance or higher is required for this role.
- This position is fully onsite at facility in Colorado Springs, CO.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Willing to travel to provide customer support (typically 5% travel).
