BillGO is looking to hire a Software Engineer to develop software solutions for their fintech products by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage and work processes. The role will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software products and applications.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency with both off-the-shelf and custom AI tools utilizing LLMs, Agentic AI, MCP, and prompt engineering.
- Demonstrated proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python, C-Sharp, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, version control systems, and project management tools.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that meet the needs of our fintech products.
- Utilize programming languages, frameworks, and tools to build scalable, secure, and reliable software applications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, maintain code quality, and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fintech and software development.
- Ensure that all software developed complies with industry security standards and regulatory requirements.

- This role is based onsite at BillGO's headquarters located in Fort Collins, CO. There is an opportunity to work remotely on occasion, but will be based in the office with the team the majority of the time.
