LexisNexis Risk Solutions is looking to solve difficult problems in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing, Identity Authentication & Verification, Fraud and Credit Risk mitigation and Customer Data Management by making "Big Data" management easier and simpler
Requirements
- Understanding of data manipulation languages – SSIS, SQL, etc
- Ability to work with simple data models and familiarity with various data formats
- Proficiency in Java
- Understanding of languages including but not limited to: Python, Korn Shell, etc
- Familiar with Unix/Linux servers and commands
- Experience working with Git – GitLab/GitHub
- BS Engineering/Computer Science experience required and equivalent work experience in Software Engineering
Responsibilities
- Complete testing of new development and bug fixes
- Work closely with other development team members and Business to understand product requirements and translate them testing procedures
- Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc)
- Resolve technical issues as necessary
- Extracting, loading, cleansing, translating, manipulating, analyzing, linking and indexing massive amounts of data utilizing cutting edge technology and techniques
- Collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver a product experience that aims to exceed customer expectations
- Turning raw data into a format that’s easily digestible for the query portion along with data analytics and quality checks

- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- BS Engineering/Computer Science experience required and equivalent work experience in Software Engineering
- U.S. National Base Pay Range: $58,000 - $96,700
