Cox Automotive is seeking a Software Engineer I to join the Manheim team based in Atlanta, GA, to design, develop, and maintain application and system code to deliver new features, enhance performance, and improve maintainability.
Requirements

- Working knowledge of Database Technologies
- Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
- Exposure to RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop new or maintain existing programs based on specifications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain unit tests for programs.
- Actively participate in agile team activities.
- Participate in functional test planning and testing for assigned applications, functional areas, or projects.
- Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting for assigned applications, functional areas, or projects.
- Identifying and automating manual tasks
- Evaluating and responding to bug submissions
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Foundational skills in analytical thinking, requirements analysis, software installation and support, system and technology integration, and technical troubleshooting.
