Blue Yonder is seeking a Software Engineer I to join their Azure Cloud based Data Platform Team to contribute to the development of feature enhancements, roadmap stories, and unit and functional tests for their AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions Software products.
Requirements
- Intermediate programming skills and background in Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Bash
- Hands-On experience and Proficiency in Java
- Hands-On experience and Proficiency in Spring Boot
- Hands-On experience and Proficiency in Python
- Hands-On experience and Proficiency in Bash
- Hands-On experience and Proficiency in Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JSON)
- Hands-On experience and Proficiency in Object Oriented Design (OOD)
Responsibilities
- Develop quality software with the focus on REST APIs and Microservices (including effective unit test code) according to clean code principles and Blue Yonder standards
- Development will include roadmap features, unit and functional tests, along with supporting documentation
- Participate in team Agile activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Provide architectural design feedback (inputs/suggestions) on product features
- Autonomously perform code refactoring to improve local software quality
- Actively provide feedback during code reviews
- Assist in deployment and troubleshooting of applications that are integrated with Azure, Kubernetes, Elastic Search, and other services
Other
- Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred) and minimum 2 years of experience in Software development
- Excellent team player and works with go-get attitude
- Exposure to Agile
- Should have good communication skill and effectively work with stakeholders and team as well
- Possess the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop strong problem-solving skills
