Apex Fintech Solutions (AFS) needs to simplify, automate, and facilitate access to financial markets for all by processing millions of transactions daily. This role is part of the Apex Leadership & Development Program (ALDP) designed for recent college graduates to develop technical and financial domain knowledge to support these goals.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java, Python, Go, or C.
- Experience with RDBMS and modern software development practices.
Responsibilities
- Work with a variety of languages/frameworks, such as Java, Go, Python, and technologies such as RDBMS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Learn from and apply design techniques and coding standards coached by Senior Engineers.
- Build resilient, self-scaling, self-healing services that ensure stability and reliability.
- Support the production systems that you build, incorporating CI/CD processes and production monitoring tools like DataDog.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to code reviews.
- Participate in training to develop technical and financial domain knowledge.

- This opportunity operates in an office environment 4 days a week during the 1-year program at Apex’s Austin, Texas location.
