Requirements
- Experience using Typescript, Java (or similar programming languages)
- Experience with Cloud technologies
- Experience with Relational databases and non-SQL datastores
- Experience troubleshooting on web browser dev tools
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures and coding background
- Experience with continuous delivery, git, test automation and build/deploy systems
- Experience using React
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, performant, accessible, and robust web-based solutions to solve complex business problems
- Implement new features and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance
- Work closely with and incorporate feedback from other engineers, tech-ops, UX designers, researchers, and product managers
- Attend daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with your peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to your customers
- Work with colleagues across various locations and disciplines to achieve common goals
- Be a trusted on call engineer as part of the on call rotation of your team - typically once every two months
- Design systems in an agile environment to withstand hyper growth and owning quality from end to end
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-5 years working in a full-stack or backend-focused engineering position
- Strong level of curiosity
- Takes initiative and shows scrappiness in getting things done
- Proven ability to work well in teams - partnering with managers, cross functional teams, and teammates
