Nike Sports Research Lab needs to implement innovative athlete-facing experiences to engage with consumers at a scale previously impossible, providing immediate and valuable feedback on athletic performance.

Requirements

  • Be learning to design, build, and consume reliable, secure, synchronous, and asynchronous web services for front end utilization.
  • Have some experience web ui utilizing modular and reactive ui frameworks.
  • Anchor your design and engineering practices on the foundations of devops.
  • Expect that you are responsible for testing and asserting the quality of your own work in an automated and repeatable fashion.
  • Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust
  • Frameworks: React, Express, Apollo
  • Platforms: Docker, AWS, PostgreSQL

Responsibilities

  • Implement innovative athlete* facing experiences.
  • Create solutions using our own code, 3rd party software, AI models, and consumer web-services on top of physical athlete experiences.
  • Design, build, and consume reliable, secure, synchronous, and asynchronous web services for front end utilization.
  • Anchor your design and engineering practices on the foundations of devops.
  • Expect that you are responsible for testing and asserting the quality of your own work in an automated and repeatable fashion.
  • Help evolve our engineering environment over time.
  • Leverage your knowledge to design full-stack applications for quality, security, reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance.
