Requirements
- Experience building software using Typescript and/or Python
- Previous experience with open source
- Excellent practical judgment and ability to collaborate and ask for help when needed
- Experience with GenAI, LLMs, and RAG is a plus
- Frontend experience, especially with Typescript/React is also a plus
- Ability to become proficient in Typescript/Python quickly
- Experience with backend stack in Python, Typescript, Ruby and Java/JRuby
Responsibilities
- Crafting a variety of data integrations to various third-parties with an emphasis on broadening our catalog of offerings
- Collaborating with international teammates in a mostly text-based, asynchronous, remote-first team environment with occasional video calls and yearly conferences
- Acting as an important and communicative part of an engaged and spirited team, working with data scientists and product teams to integrate AI-driven solutions
- Working with the team and codebase in a hands-on manner
- Integrating AI-driven solutions with data scientists and product teams
- Collaborating with the team to deliver valuable features for the Elastic Search solution
- Transforming external data sources into readily accessible knowledge sources for both traditional and AI applications
