The company is looking for an Engineer I, Software to develop, write, and modify code to build and ship new features that optimize operational efficiency and drive growth.

Requirements

  • 0-4 year(s) Programming in any of the following: Python, Java, C-Sharp, Go, Typescript or JavaScript
  • Foundational knowledge of relational databases and SQL, with the ability to learn and reason about SQL queries
  • Understanding of version control including trunk based development, multiple release planning, cherry picking, and rebase
  • General knowledge of tools used for development, testing, and debugging
  • Comprehension of major data structures (arrays, dictionaries, strings)
  • Basic working knowledge of RESTful APIs, HTTP requests, and distributed systems

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain code for our web-based applications
  • Collaborate with software and production engineers to design scalable services, plan feature roll-out, and ensure high reliability and performance of our products
  • Use data structures and software design patterns effectively leading to maintainable software
  • Conduct code reviews and build test suites for your products
  • Participate in team discussions to define requirements on new and current products
  • Provide technical support for many applications within the technology portfolio
  • Use logging, monitoring, and data tools to debug and develop software

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot routine and non-routine problems quickly, efficiently, and effectively
  • Handle multiple competing priorities in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience required
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
