Requirements
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles
- Hands-on experience with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse and Microsoft Visual Studio
- Familiarity with automated testing and automated test frameworks
- Strong grasp of software development processes, including version control, code reviews, and continuous integration
- Working knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps methodologies and environments
- Experience with C-Sharp and Python programming languages
Responsibilities
- development, integration, test, and documentation of software for our Weapon System Integration (WSI) products
- developing software, tailoring reusable software, and integrating software components on virtual machines and target hardware
- participate in the full software lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, implementation and unit testing, and software integration and test
- shares knowledge with other engineers and contributes to maturing and improving our processes and products
- adherence to coding standards and best practices, and configuration management of all code
- research, analyze, and optimize code to meet performance and efficiency requirements
- participate in Agile or DevOps software development teams
Other
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a DoD Secret-level security clearance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven experience contributing to Agile or DevOps software development teams
- Bachelors Degree with a major in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) degree program
- Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development or a closely related engineering discipline
