Addressing the hardest problems within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) through rapid prototyping efforts
Requirements
- Proficient in programming languages, e.g. Java, C++, Python
- Experience using collaborative source code management, Agile Development, and DevSecOps
- Experience with Windows and Linux Development Environments
- Domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Front-end development including geospatial UI/UX, Cloud native technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Harbor, Helm
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a software development team to design and implement rapid prototypes for a broad range of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), sensor exploitation, tracking, and Command and Control (C2) challenges
- Develop cutting-edge modelling and simulation tools and algorithms across the air, land, sea, space domains
- Develop and perform mission scenarios and vignettes to determine mission, system, and component performance in real-time and faster-than-real-time systems
- Take ownership of software modules from design, implementation, maintenance, and test
- Participate in the Agile development process and employ DevSecOps best practices
- Decompose high-level tasks into smaller more manageable issues/tasks
Other
- Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required
- Active Secret Clearance, able to get TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or science field with 2+ years of relevant professional experience OR an advanced degree in a related field
