Microsoft's Azure Wide Area Network (WAN) Bandwidth Broker team is looking for a Software Engineer II to analyze and design the future network infrastructure, focusing on traffic management, quality of service enforcement, and admission control to ensure the most reliable and scalable network.
Requirements
- 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, or Java.
- 2+ years of software development experience with focus on building high performance and scalable systems.
- 2+ years of experience in release management including, but not limited to building CI/CD pipelines for Azure services deployment.
- 1+ years experience with Network Engineering (protocols like Sflow, IPFIX, Traffic Engineering etc) or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years experience in designing and developing scalable microservices using Azure Service Fabric, with proficiency in C-Sharp/.NET and distributed systems architecture.
- Solid understanding of service lifecycle management, reliability, partitioning, and stateful/stateless service models within Service Fabric environments.

- Holds accountability as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), working on-call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
