Microsoft Azure is looking to solve the problem of hosting SAP centric solutions in public cloud, specifically enabling, helping and supporting SAP to integrate SAP software, SaaS, and PaaS services into the Azure platform, with a focus on reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- 2+ years ABAP experience
- 2+ years experience with machine learning (ML) or artificial intelligence (AI)
- 2+ years experience with Linux (SLES, RHEL) and Windows Operating systems
- 2+ years experience with cloud environments – Azure or AWS
- 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience in working with community driven OSS projects on Github and monitoring and telemetry in cloud native environments
- Demonstrated ability and passion for analyzing and improving large scale service deployments.
Responsibilities
- Integrate SAP PaaS and SaaS applications and platforms in Azure using Kubernetes or other open source frameworks.
- Enhance the functionality of ABAP SDKs and libraries for integration of SAP with Azure services
- Develop tooling for collecting telemetry and optimization for SAP workloads on Azure, using machine learning
- Analyze and investigate deployments, develop solutions and work with the Azure Compute Engineering teams to improve and enhance the experience of SAP hosting and deploying SaaS and PaaS services on the Azure platform.
- Design automated tests, capable of detecting gating regressions in the platform, which can adversely impact SAP on Azure.
- Contribute to strategic investments to integrate SAP PaaS and SaaS applications with Azure.
- Refine existing skills and develop new expertise in building tooling for collecting telemetry and optimization for SAP workloads on Azure.

- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
