C.H Robinson is seeking to transform how they serve their global customers by designing and delivering solutions that improve pricing and automate quotes across Air and Ocean, and advance their engineering practices and global forwarding operations with agentic AI.
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience developing and implementing commercial software
- 2+ years' experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., C, .NET)
- 1+ year experience with relational (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle) or non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Elastic, Cosmos)
- Familiarity with HTTP and RESTful architecture
- 1+ year experience with unit, integration, and acceptance testing
- 1+ year experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, TFS)
- 1+ year experience with CI/CD practices
Responsibilities
- Develop software and design solutions that meet customer requirements with a focus on performance and availability
- Conduct gemba-style engagements with users to build empathy, deepen business understanding, and ensure solutions deliver value
- Partner with engineering product managers and principal engineers to translate requirements into detailed technical designs
- Conduct code reviews and write unit, integration, and acceptance tests to ensure high code quality
- Optimize, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance and availability issues in production environments
- Create and maintain thorough technical documentation
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IS, MIS, or related field, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience with a high school diploma/GED
