The Corporate Unit in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Software Engineer II to deliver innovative software solutions that solve real business problems in Sales Architecture.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in one or more technology areas – Oracle ERP, SAP, AWS Cloud services, Salesforce platform, RPA tools
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including scripting, automation of build, deployment, testing, and release management
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing architectures, system integrations, API development, and data mapping is strongly preferred
  • Experience working in Agile and Scrum methodologies, including participation in sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and iterative delivery cycles to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business goals
  • Experience in Sales/Finance/Supply Chain domains is preferred
  • Fundamental IT technical skill sets
  • Professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations

Responsibilities

  • Deliver innovative software solutions by analyzing user needs, system flows, and work processes to design tools that solve real business problems.
  • Ensure clarity and usability by documenting solutions through flowcharts, layouts, and technical specifications that support seamless implementation.
  • Drive informed decision-making by evaluating feasibility through a thorough analysis of requirements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Bridge business and technology by understanding operational needs and translating them into effective, scalable software tools.
  • Promote technical excellence by recommending modern development tools and techniques while staying engaged with industry trends and communities.
  • Safeguard digital assets by maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all development processes and data handling practices.
  • Enhance system performance by conducting in-depth systems analysis and recommending policy or procedural improvements.

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required
  • Communicate with clarity by tailoring messages to diverse audiences, ensuring understanding and alignment across teams and stakeholders
  • Strengthen customer relationships by delivering solutions that are responsive to customer needs and focused on long-term value
  • Navigate challenges effectively by managing conflict with professionalism and minimal disruption to team dynamics or project outcomes
  • Experience working as a software engineer with knowledge and experiences in Agile environments
