Microsoft is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining a mission-critical storage service that captures and serves the output of every build across the company.
Requirements
- 2+ year(s) experience in C-Sharp and the .NET ecosystem.
- 1+ year(s) of experience with Cloud Services
- 6+ months of experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, or similar) to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Experience maintaining and improving complex codebases.
- Experience writing highly concurrent services and implementing optimizations at scale.
- Experience debug problems in distributed systems and production services.
- Experience with Kubernetes or similar cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Work on a large-scale, highly-available backend service that handles massive concurrency and throughput.
- Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance C-Sharp code that prioritizes simplicity over cleverness.
- Debug and resolve production issues in a live service environment.
- Contribute to architectural decisions that balance scalability, maintainability, and speed.
- Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features.
- Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gains approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems.

Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- The ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience working in an operations-focused environment with on-call rotations.
