Microsoft's Azure Data engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer II to work on making OneLake a unified data repository for all data from any cloud, on-premises, or in the cloud, in any format, while maintaining a single copy of the data. The goal is to simplify data integration and consumption for end-users across various Fabric engines.
Requirements
- 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 1+ years' experience with scalable cloud services.
- 1+ years' experience with OSS table formats like Delta or Iceberg.
- Distributed systems design and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design & develop micro services and components of large-scale distributed systems.
- Participate in product design discussions with the PM teams.
- Drive & contribute to service fundamentals.
