Microsoft Ads is looking to grow its share of the online advertising market by providing a highly scalable platform that competes with Google Advertising platform, and the team is on an ambitious journey to build a new generation of Microsoft Ads UI and analytical platform.

Requirements

  • 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • 2+ years of experience in solid CS fundamentals, solid inclination for architecting at scale, with proficient technical design, problem solving and debugging skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in producing proficient data driven decision making and the ability to build metrics to analyze business impact.
  • 2+ years of experience coding with C-Sharp, JavaScript, HTML and/or CSS (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience with ReactJS or TypeScript, and modern front end development environment (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience with data analysis and building metrics to measure business impact (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with PMs, UX designers and partner teams to design and develop features from concept to release and live operations.
  • Be quality and result driven in project execution.
  • Build metrics and monitor impact of features.
  • Be open and willing to learn new technology and to take challenges.
  • Help team to forge a sound engineering culture with growth mindset.

Other

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
  • Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
  • Collaborative team member and communicator (preferred)
  • 4 days a week work from office expectation for employees living within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S. location
