Requirements
- Proficiency in software development and software design methodologies
- Experience with COTS/GOTS in place of new development
- Knowledge of hardware/software trade-offs
- Experience with software reuse
- Familiarity with database or data repository interfaces/queries
- Experience with algorithm development and implementation
- Knowledge of system performance standards and functional standards
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Design and code new software or modifies existing software to add new features
- Debug existing software and corrects defects
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
- Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
- Make recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
Other
- Top Secret w/ Full Scope Poly clearance required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- 20+ years of experience in software engineering programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Ability to serve as team lead or technical lead
