Microsoft is looking to enhance customer lifetime value within Windows by designing insight-driven experiences that resonate with user needs and aspirations, specifically focusing on improving Windows Search to boost customer preference and satisfaction and enhance Microsoft's integration.
Requirements
- coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 2+ year(s) of experience in development, planning, scheduling, and delivering quality software.
- Understanding of Windows architecture, API design, interfaces, COM, and WinRT API is a plus.
- Experience in creating apps and building on SDKs.
- Web development expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develops robust, user-focused Windows experiences
- Collaborates with various Microsoft teams (e.g., Bing, Office, Edge)
- Employs experimentation and feedback to enhance features
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify user requirements for features.
- Assist in identifying dependencies and developing design documents for product features under supervision.
- Learn and implement code for products, services, or features, reusing code where applicable, with guidance.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), monitoring systems/products/features/services for issues like degradation, downtime, or interruptions, and recommend actions to restore functionality as per the playbook.
