Invoca is looking to develop foundational services that connect, enrich, and process conversational data to bring all relevant call data into the Invoca platform, surface key insights on the caller journey for agents, and scale the core systems and pipelines handling conversational data, ultimately making this data accessible and valuable across the Invoca ecosystem for a more efficient and accurate experience for agents and customers.

Requirements

  • Experience with some of our primary technologies: Ruby on Rails (or similar), MySQL/PostgreSQL, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • The ability to quickly learn new skills and make significant progress on tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of small-to-medium features from technical design through to launch.
  • Focus on developing high-quality solutions without sacrificing productivity, making consistent progress on assigned tasks.
  • Consider scalability, testability, supportability, observability, and maintainability in your approach, writing code that incorporates these principles with guidance from experienced engineers.
  • Diagnose production issues (with verification from other team members) and contribute to suggesting solutions.
  • Build effective and collaborative working relationships with your team members.
  • Work collaboratively with your team to define, break down, and prioritize tasks.
  • Contribute to suggesting solutions for production issues.

  • This role is remote and open to candidates located in the United States and Canada only.
