Requirements
- 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, React, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript
- Strong understanding of modern web technologies and front-end or full-stack architecture.
- 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, OR Python
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience in AI development, particularly in building intelligent, assistive features.
- Experience mentoring peers and driving technically challenging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI-Driven Innovation: Drive the development of intelligent features using generative AI, including the Authoring Copilot for SharePoint, which transforms how users create and manage content.
- Leverage AI to assist authors with readability, engagement, and accessibility—especially for non-native speakers and non-professional writers.
- Elevate Page Authoring: Shape the future of content creation through intuitive page templates, design ideas, and smart sections.
- Build experiences that empower users to craft compelling, branded, and visually stunning pages with minimal effort.
- Deliver Intuitive Consumer & Author Experiences: Create seamless, personalized experiences across SharePoint, Viva Connections, Teams, and Outlook.
- Build Agentic Systems: Contribute to the development of the Knowledge Agent and Site Manager—AI-first systems that automate content curation, retirement, and discovery.
- Scale with Data and Insight: Use data science and customer feedback to guide engineering decisions.

- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
