Medtronic is seeking a Software Engineer II to support its Diabetes engineering teams by developing and improving products. The role is within the Diabetes business, which Medtronic intends to separate to foster growth and innovation, requiring agile operations and enhanced patient care impact.
Requirements
- Well versed with C and .NET Core.
- Good knowledge on Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and design patterns.
- Experience with writing unit test cases using unit test frameworks.
- Experience in software design including OOA/OOD and design patterns.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket and git
- Good to have knowledge and experience in at least one container platform like Docker, Kubernetes etc.
- Good to have knowledge and experience in REST API development, Microservices.
Responsibilities
- Designs, implements reports functionality as per defined requirements provided by the product owner.
- Reviews changes from other developers to ensure quality deliverables.
- Collaborates with the Product Owner and System Analyst to analyze the requirements and identify solutions.
- Analyzes any issues identified by the QA team in the implemented functionality and address on priority.
- Investigates the complaints from the field and communicate resolution to the customer service team.
- Actively participate in the grooming and planning meetings.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math, or similar field with 4+ years of experience as Software Engineer OR Master Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math, or similar field with 2+ years of experience as Software Engineer
- Nice to have prior experience in medical device industry.
