Medtronic is looking to hire a Software Engineer II to support their Diabetes engineering teams by applying expertise for product development and improvement. This role is within Medtronic's Diabetes business, which is undergoing a separation to promote future growth and innovation.
Requirements
- Well versed with C-Sharp and .NET Core.
- Good knowledge on Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and design patterns.
- Experience with writing unit test cases using unit test frameworks.
- Experience in software design including OOA/OOD and design patterns.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket and git
- Good to have knowledge and experience in at least one container platform like Docker, Kubernetes etc.
- Good to have knowledge and experience in REST API development, Microservices.
Responsibilities
- Designs, implements reports functionality as per defined requirements provided by the product owner.
- Reviews changes from other developers to ensure quality deliverables.
- Collaborates with the Product Owner and System Analyst to analyze the requirements and identify solutions.
- Analyzes any issues identified by the QA team in the implemented functionality and address on priority.
- Investigates the complaints from the field and communicate resolution to the customer service team.
- Actively participate in the grooming and planning meetings.
Other
- 4+ years of experience as Software Engineer (if Bachelor's degree)
- 2+ years of experience as Software Engineer (if Master's degree)
- Nice to have prior experience in medical device industry.
- The employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.
- The employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers.
