Applause is looking for a Software Engineer II to join their team to create and maintain the heart of their business - a platform that enables their hundreds of thousands of in-the-wild testers to provide quick and meaningful feedback to some of the world's largest companies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building commercial software
- Full-stack experience
- Proficient in Java or in a similar object-oriented language. Experience with Spring is a plus.
- Experience with a UI framework such as Angular and/or related web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Experience with relational databases and writing SQL
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Git
Responsibilities
- Work directly with a feature-focused team to extend existing product capabilities, implement and improve features, and have a real and immediate impact on our users
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Own features across the stack and from development to production
- Use the following languages/tools/technologies, among others
- Java, Spring, Hibernate
- NodeJS, TypeScript, Angular
- MySql, ElasticSearch

- Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to refine requirements
