Akamai is looking to solve complex challenges on the internet, specifically in managing websites and securing transactions for large enterprises worldwide, by building high resiliency customer-facing systems and enhancing customers' experience in managing their international CDN presence and satisfying compliance requirements.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and test-driven development in Java and Python
- Hands on experience with service-oriented architecture, REST, microservices, frameworks like Spring
- Experience working with Databases and CI/CD tools (i.e. Jenkins, Maven)
- Good programming skills and an interest in learning new technologies
Responsibilities
- Designing and development of highly scalable software that runs on the Akamai infrastructure
- Partnering with internal cross functional teams to translate requirements into solutions to meet business objectives
- Implementing new features, enhancing and optimizing existing features
- Contributing ideas and knowledge to process-improvement sessions team to facilitate continuous improvement of our products
Other
- Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
- Display excellent communication skills, be self-driven, positive and an effective team player
