The Azure Container App Service team is looking to empower developers to rapidly build and manage highly scalable distributed and serverless applications on Azure. They are seeking to shape the next generation of Serverless and Modern Application Platforms for Azure by building new products and managing a globally distributed service.

Requirements

  • 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • 2+ years of experience with distributed systems and cloud services.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and other container orchestration systems.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the creation of feature designs and lead design discussions, leveraging your expertise to make decisions that align with the overall product vision.
  • Effectively leverage AI platforms to increase operational efficiency and reduce toil
  • Establish and maintain telemetry to monitor usage and performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure optimal service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and consistency across the codebase, providing constructive feedback and guidance to team members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, disciplines, and architects to deliver timely products to our partners and customers.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, documentation, and specifications.
  • Demonstrate and enhance communication and group collaboration skills.

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • 3 days / week in-office
