Azure Edge Linux Infrastructure & Virtualization Engineering (LIVE+) organization is building a team to help develop an edge computing platform to automate and manage the customer hybrid cloud platform and workload deployments and the next generation Internet of Things
Requirements
- 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript or Python
- 2+ years of experience with Agile and DevOps processes
- Experience in building, shipping and operating reliable, distributed systems software
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes
- Experience with Agentic AI and AI frameworks/protocols
- Solid technical and design skills towards problem solving w.r.to scale and optimization
- Solid programming experience in GoLang/C-Sharp Languages with Data Structures and Algorithms
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software systems, components, and features
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and high standards of code quality
- Work with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software for performance and reliability
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and growth within the team
- Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gains approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
