Uniti is looking to ensure the quality and functionality of its cloud software products for the OfficeSuite UCaaS service by hiring a Software Product Verification Engineer to oversee testing, defect resolution, and production support.
Requirements
- A technical background in VoIP solutions or UCaaS with experience in Linux and Linux commands, virtualization, security, networking, and high availability is required.
- Experience with software product verification, software systems support, or development, and knowledge of test methodologies.
- 5 years of experience constructing and executing test plans, estimating effort, identifying and documenting defects, and recognizing that the product has achieved the expected quality level.
- Experience with automated testing and Python is recommended.
Responsibilities
- Software verification using Agile methodology with a focus on ensuring that the products under development meet the specified requirements and maintain high quality.
- Execute test plans, identify and document defects, and develop test plans for new capabilities.
- Install, configure and maintain your Linux-based virtual test environment.
- Work closely with developers, support engineers and other verification engineers to accurately identify and resolve defects.
- Troubleshooting and technical support of production systems.
- Working independently as well as working in a cross-functional team.
