Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence, and the Power BI self-service team's mission is to democratize data visualization and analytics, making it accessible and intuitive for everyone

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • 1+ years of experience with creating responsive and accessible UI using TypeScript, Angular, RxJs, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of backend development experience (designing and working with APIs, databases, etc.)
  • Experience with AI/ML models and developer tools
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Responsibilities

  • Deliver world-class user experiences and cloud services at scale to customers in collaboration with architects, UX designers, and product managers
  • Design, deliver, test, monitor and support features with good quality, maintainability, and end-to-end ownership
  • Maintain customer focus, considering current and future needs when designing and implementing features
  • Collaborate effectively within the team and with partner teams across Microsoft
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, inclusion, collaboration, and customer focus
  • Embody our culture and values
  • Solve work on creating next generation AI agents and AI assisted user experiences using LLMs

  • The ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role
  • Travel 0-25%
  • Work site: 3 days/week in-office
