Microsoft Business Industry Copilot (BIC) group is looking to enhance engineering productivity, security, and compliance by understanding developer requirements and consolidating multiple developer needs into strategic projects aligned with broader organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C-Sharp, or Python
  • 2+ years experience in big data, machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and search technologies.
  • 2+ years experience with cloud services, DevOps, and AI.
  • 1+ years experience using Azure DevOps and GitHub for project tracking
  • Familiarity with command line, PowerShell and OSS software
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Power BI
  • Experience with cloud services, DevOps, and AI

Responsibilities

  • Define business requirements and acceptance criteria in partnership with key stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Drive engineering initiatives across teams, including planning, status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation.
  • Oversee engineering system operations, including incident management, build pipeline monitoring, troubleshooting, and integration support.
  • Manage project timelines, estimates, milestones, and course corrections to ensure on-time delivery of solutions that meet business needs.
  • Automate program management processes using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Power BI to improve efficiency.
  • Support geo-expansion efforts and participate in security and infrastructure initiatives to maintain compliance and service reliability.
  • Facilitate communication and transparency through newsletters, service reviews, and stakeholder engagement across multiple teams.

Other

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and adapt to new challenges.
  • Demonstrated success in building relationships with technical and business stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Effective analytical skills with experience in customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
