HERE Technologies is looking to develop large scale, distributed processes to construct Core Products used by major automotive manufacturers in navigation applications.
Requirements
- Experience writing Scala or Java 8+ with unit tests and Maven/sbt build tools
- Expertise with object-oriented and functional programming paradigms
- Strong understanding of data structures and time complexity
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Distributed computing using Apache Spark/Flink
- Container technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
- Cloud computing environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
Responsibilities
- Developing code following best practices
- Peer reviewing and testing code changes by other team members
- Identifying, investigating, analyzing, and correcting software defects
- Gathering requirements and designing software components
- Contributing to process improvements
- Maintaining build, CI/CD tools, and DevOps process
